Colossians 2:8  "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."

World Views Year I: The Bible and Ancient Thought establishes the biblical worldview as the gauge against which all other ideas are evaluated. World Views is a study of ideas and the consequences of those ideas accepted throughout history. Year I of this 4-year study contrasts the ideas of the biblical world view and the Greco-Roman world view.  Year I provides a total of 3 and 3/4 course credits.

Again, this is a rigorous high school CORE curriculum - it is not intended to be added onto a large load of additional curriculum.  Most students only need appropriate math, science and/or foreign language classes along with World Views.  Most weeks, an average student should expect to spend at least 3 hours PER DAY, 5 days per week (in addition to class time) to prepare adequately for this class.

This course is ideal for 9th grade, although may be beneficial for other students at the discretion of the teacher and parent.
